We are aware that digitalization does not make trees grow any faster.

However, it enables informed decision-making. With your WaldCursor, you have all the relevant data and information organized and ready to go wherever you are.

Tama Group

Digitalization opens up new possibilities in the management of forests and environment. We’ve developed the WaldCursor to make it easy for everyone to benefit from the advantages of digitalization, no matter the size of your operation.

Our Story

© Tama Group

Ralph Humberg, a graduate engineer, leveraged his experience in numerous large international companies to establish the Tama Group in Munich’s western suburbs in 2015.

We provide our clients with the ability to obtain quantifiable insights from images captured from above, utilizing satellite, aerial, and drone imagery. However, we do not operate satellites, aircraft, or drones ourselves. What we do is provide the automated analysis of images and data.

Our company focuses on two business areas::

  • eCognition – Trimble’s AI software. We provide a range of tailored services that align with the diverse capabilities of the software. We have developed a range of applications for use in a variety of fields.
  • WaldCursor – Modern management for forestry and environment

Our Vision

© Tama Group

Our extensive experience in customer and partner relations across a diverse range of sectors shapes the WaldCursor.

Our successful cooperation with customers has demonstrated that two factors are critical for the successful implementation of measures in an area:

  • On the one hand, it is essential to leverage the expertise and experience of the professionals on-site.
  • On the other hand, a digital platform that collects information and makes it available with GPS accuracy is essential.

WaldCursor brings these two points together for the forestry and environment sector. It makes the entry into digitalization attractive for smaller companies in the forestry and environmental sector. WaldCursor is a digital solution for planning, documenting, and analyzing measures in the field.

“Let’s work together on forestry and the environment. Let’s combine your hands-on experience with our expertise in remote sensing and digitization. Field projects demand experience, solid planning, and top-notch tools. But they also require the right data. With the WaldCursor, you can plan your measures in the field digitally right from the start, implement them professionally in the field and inspect them from anywhere.”
