Hands-on in Brucker Moos

In June 2026 we took part in renaturation of the Bucker Moos for the third time.

In June 2026 we and other volunteer helpers picked up the shovel and dug a 100-meter-long infiltration swale.  In future this swale will help leading water back to the peatlands. In July 2025, under the motto „Keeping an eye on biodiversity . monitoring in the peatland“ , we joined the volunteers helping the project team record plant and insect species on the drained peatland area. In April 2025 we and other volunteers helped the team setting monitoring stations.

In the Brucker Moos in the district of Ebersberg a renaturation of a approximately 10h  peatland has started. …
