WaldCursor supports documentation and planning of forest management activities. You digitally gather all the important information and data needed for specific forest management operations and make it available with GPS-level accuracy to the employees and contractors who carry out the work on-site.

WaldCursor improves the cooperation with external service providers. As account holder, you have the option to extend invitations to service providers to collaborate with you on your WaldCursor account. If you want to involve a service provider or partner in a specific project, simply give them access to the relevant project folder. Now all important information is available digitally to everyone involved.

On the map, mark the corner points of the area where work needs to be done, tracing the outline of the area. This is an easy way to mark the area where tasks need to be completed.

In WaldCursor „Project“ means your digital folder which holds all information for a measure or task. In the ‚Project‘ you mark the aerea where work needs to be done and add the specific tasks and workorders GPS-accurate. Here you can gather GPS-accurately observations in the field and add photos or documents. For each project, add responsible service providers, and employees to share information and images directly in the WaldCursor.   

WaldCursor offers four different types of maps:

• “TWC Map” displays a classic map with information such as land cover, contour lines, building footprints or hiking trails
• „TWC Aerial Image” offers the option of displaying the latest aerial image of the region (source: ESRI World Imagery).
• You can upload maps with specific geolocalized information under „Thematic Maps“.
• „Additional maps“ offers dditional information from external providers that is displayed directly in the map view.

You can easily upload Thematic Maps with geolocalized information and make them available to the project teams.

Yes, you can easily upload documents or images to WaldCursor and link them to the corresponding project.

WaldCursor is a cloudbased software you can use on desktop and as an App on smartphone and tablet.

You can use WaldCursor on Android- and IOS-Smartphone and Tablets.

WaldCursor can be used in a special Offline Use Mode to work in areas with with poor signal and bad or even none reception.

IAs an additional service WaldCursor offers an easy way to employ a Satellite Time Series of an area of your interest. You mark an area on the map for which you would like to use our satellite monitoring service. Once the area has been uploaded, satellite data is automatically provided and analyzed for the area.
